Miral Design is the online home of Adam Payne, a Staffordshire based web designer and photographer.

For my day job I work at a local High School in the roll of Network Manager, having previously held the role of IT Technician. Here I work with my colleague Dave and we strive to better the school network to benefit teaching and learning.

My experience with web design started at a young age - making my own websites at home at the age of 12, with the help from 'My First Web Site', a simple book teaching the basics of HTML. Several years later having left school and moved to FE I rekindled my love of web design whilst studying. Learning ASP and CSS in the process.

Through out the years, starting from a young age I have always enjoyed image editing, I even remember working on MS Paint on Windows 3.11 to create a Stoke City football shirt, nowadays I prefer to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 to achieve some images I am very proud of. Having recently purchased a new Camera, Canon 450D, I am hoping to reignite my love of photography which I have let slide since studying photography at college due to many factors. I have always found photography to be a very relaxing past time and can make you look at the small things around us that we don't always see.
